This regulation may be cited as the Major Events (Motor Racing Events) (Townsville 500) Amendment Regulation 2021.
This regulation commences on 14 June 2021.
This regulation amends the Major Events (Motor Racing Events) Regulation 2015.

For section 12(2)(b) of the Act, the major event area prescribed for the Townsville 500 is the area surrounding the Townsville Civic Theatre shown on the map in schedule 1 as the major event area.6Major event period for Townsville 500—Act, s 12
For section 12(2)(c) of the Act, the major event period for the Townsville 500 is the period from midday on 8 July 2021 to midday on 12 July 2021.7Carrying out temporary works for Townsville 500—Act, s 16
For section 16(2) of the Act, the following periods are prescribed—(a)from the beginning of the day on 14 June 2021 to midday on 8 July 2021;(b)from midday on 12 July 2021 to midnight on 23 July 2021.8Declaration of official title for Townsville 500—Act, s 51
For section 51(1)(b) of the Act, the title ‘2021 NTI Townsville 500’ is declared an official title for the Townsville 500.
