1Short title

This declaration may be cited as the Queen's Wharf Brisbane (Freehold Land) Declaration 2016.

2Land to be granted in fee simple to the State—Act, s 43

(1)This is a freehold declaration for section 43(1)(a) of the Act.
(2)The land mentioned in schedule 1, column 1 is the subject of the declaration.
(3)Each interest mentioned in schedule 1, column 2 opposite the land is an ongoing interest for the land.
(4)The purpose for declaring the land is stated in schedule 1, column 3 opposite the land.

(b)  provide for continuing recreational and cultural use of the land

The State heritage place under the Queensland Heritage Act 1992, dealing number 717427299

Lot 12 on crown plan B32389, area of 0.1321ha, known as Commissariat Store or Commissariat Stores

Lease number 702816337 to the Royal Historical Society of Queensland over part of the land shown on the sketch plan for the lease

To—

(a)  grant a lease for development in relation to the Queen’s Wharf priority development area; and
(b)  provide for continuing recreational and cultural use of the land
