1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Police Powers and Responsibilities (Designated Business and Community Precincts) Amendment Regulation 2026.

2Commencement

(1)The following provisions commence on 1 November 2026—

(a)section 4(1) and (2);

(b)section 5.

(2)The following provisions commence on 1 December 2026—

(a)section 4(3);

(b)section 6.

3Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Police Powers and Responsibilities Regulation 2026.

4Amendment of s 29A (Maryborough designated business and community precinct—Act, s 808D)

(1)Section 29A, heading—

(1)For section 808D(1) of the Act, each of the following areas is prescribed—

(a)the area marked as the designated business and community precinct on the map called 'Maryborough Designated Business and Community Precinct' shown in schedule 5A, part 1;

(b)the area marked as the designated business and community precinct on the map called 'Mackay Designated Business and Community Precinct' shown in schedule 5A, part 2.

(3)Section 29A(1)—
