Major Events (Pacific Airshow Gold Coast) Amendment Regulation 2026

1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Major Events (Pacific Airshow Gold Coast) Amendment Regulation 2026.

This regulation amends the Major Events (Pacific Airshow Gold Coast) Regulation 2024.

3Amendment of s 3 (Pacific Airshow Gold Coast prescribed as major event—Act, s 12)

Section 3, ‘2024’—
omit, insert—

4Amendment of s 6 (Major event period—Act, s 12)

Section 6(a) and (b)—
omit, insert—

(a)starting on 14 August 2026 at 6a.m.; and

5Replacement of ss 7 and 8

Sections 7 and 8—

7Provisions of pt 5 of Act applying to Pacific Airshow Gold Coast—Act, s 12

For section 12(2)(d) of the Act, sections 31 and 36 of the Act are prescribed as provisions that apply to the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast for the major event period.

8Provisions of pt 5 of Act applying to major event areas—Act, s 12

For section 12(2)(e) of the Act, for each major event area stated in schedule 1, column 1, the provisions of the Act stated opposite in column 2 are prescribed as provisions that apply to the major event area for the period stated opposite in column 3.

6Amendment of s 9 (Controlled area—Act, s 12)

(c)16 August 2026 from 6a.m. to 6p.m.
