Queensland Building and Construction Commission and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2026

1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2026.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 February 2026.

3Regulation amended

This part amends the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulation 2018.

4Amendment of s 16 (Applications for licence—Act, s 33)

(1)Section 16(1), ‘section 33(1)(a)’—
omit, insert—

section 33(1)(b)

(2)Section 16(1)(b)(iii)—
omit, insert—

(iii)the licence application fee for the application for the licence, and the licence fee for the licence, stated in schedule 7.

licence fee means the fee for a licence, or the renewal or restoration of a licence, stated in schedule 7, item 3 or 4.

7Regulation amended

This part amends the State Penalties Enforcement Regulation 2014.
