This regulation may be cited as the Rural and Regional Adjustment (Boost to Buy Scheme) Amendment Regulation 2025.
This regulation amends the Rural and Regional Adjustment Regulation 2011.

insert—2AAuthority’s functions—Act, s 8
(1)For section 8(2)(j) of the Act, this section prescribes another function of the authority.(2)The authority has the function of helping QTC to administer the boost to buy scheme by providing the agreed services in accordance with the service level agreement, including by acting as the agent of QTC.(3)In this section—agreed services means the services the authority is required to provide under the service level agreement.boost to buy scheme means the non-statutory home ownership assistance initiative defined in the service level agreement as the Scheme.QTC means the corporation sole mentioned in the Queensland Treasury Corporation Act 1988, section 5(2) as preserved and continued in existence under the name and style ‘Queensland Treasury Corporation’.service level agreement—(a)means the agreement made between the State of Queensland (acting through Queensland Treasury), QTC and the authority called ‘Service Level Agreement: Queensland Boost to Buy Scheme’ that is published on the authority’s website on the day this section commences; but(b)does not include a reference to the agreement mentioned in paragraph (a) as varied, novated, ratified or replaced from time to time.
