1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Future Fund (Titles Registry) (Transitional) Regulation 2021.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on 18 June 2021 at 11.59p.m.

3Regulation is a transitional regulation—Act, s 51

This regulation is a transitional regulation.

Note—

Under section 51(4) of the Act, this regulation expires 1 year after the day section 51 of the Act commences.

4Meaning of transitional period

For this regulation, the transitional period is the period starting on the commencement and ending at the end of 30 June 2021.

5Titles registry fees for transitional period

(1)This section applies in relation to a titles registry function performed under a titles registry Act during the transitional period.
(2)The amount of a fee for a matter for which a fee is payable under the titles registry Act in relation to the titles registry function is the amount stated in schedule 1 of this regulation for the matter.

Note—

See section 12(2) and schedule 1 of the Act for the matters for which fees are payable in relation to titles registry functions.
(3)A fee applying under subsection (2) is a titles registry fee for the Act.
(4)Subsections (2) and (3) have effect under the Act and the titles registry Act as if the amount of the fee applying under subsection (2) were stated in section 12(3) of the Act.
(5)Each item in each table in schedule 1 of this regulation must be given the same meaning as the equivalent item in the equivalent table in schedule 1 of the Act.
