State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2020

1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the State Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2020.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on 3 July 2020 at midday.

3Regulation amended

This regulation amends the State Penalties Enforcement Regulation 2014.

4Amendment of sch 1 (Infringement notice offences and fines for nominated laws)

Schedule 1, entry for Public Health Act 2005, entry for section 362D—
omit, insert—

s 362D	for a failure to comply with a public health direction restricting entry into Queensland from another State—
	(a)  by entering Queensland in contravention of the direction	30	50
	(b)  by giving information about a matter that is not true and correct in contravention of the direction	30	50
	(c)  by failing to stay at or in a stated place in contravention of the direction	30	50
	(d)  in any other circumstances	10	50
s 362D	for a failure to comply with another public health direction	10	50
