1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Economic Development and Other Legislation (Temporary Use Licence) Amendment Regulation 2020.

2Regulation amended

This part amends the Economic Development Regulation 2013.

After part 3
insert—

Part 4 Temporary use licences

8Applications for temporary use licences—Act, s 171F

For section 171F(2)(b) of the Act, an application for a temporary use licence must include—
(a)the applicant’s name and contact details; and
(b)a description of the premises to which the application relates; and
(c)details of the relevant change the subject of the application; and
(d)the grounds for the relevant change.

Part 3 Amendment of Planning Regulation 2017

This part amends the Planning Regulation 2017.

5Insertion of new pt 8A

After part 8
insert—

Part 8A Temporary use licences

68AApplications for temporary use licences—Act, s 275H

For section 275H(2)(b) of the Act, an application for a temporary use licence must include—
(a)the applicant’s name and contact details; and
(b)a description of the premises to which the application relates; and
(c)details of the relevant change the subject of the application; and
(d)the grounds for the relevant change.

6Amendment of sch 22 (Publicly accessible documents)

(1)Schedule 22, part 4, section 11(1)—
insert—
(y)a register of temporary use licences given by the chief executive under section 275I of the Act.
(2)Schedule 22, part 4, section 11
insert—
(5)The register of temporary use licences must, for each temporary use licence given by the chief executive, include the following—
(a)the day the licence was given;
(b)the premises to which the licence relates;
(c)details of the relevant change the subject of the licence;
(d)a copy of the licence.
(3)Schedule 22, part 4, section 13(1)(a), from ‘, (j)’—
omit, insert—

to (n), (r), (v) or (y); and
