1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Liquor (Rural Hotels Concession) Amendment Regulation 2019.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 July 2019.

3Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Liquor Regulation 2002.

4Amendment of s 36A (Base fees for licences)

(1)Section 36A(1)(a)—
omit, insert—
(a)either—
(i)for a licence other than a licence mentioned in section 202A(1) of the Act—$3,757; or
(ii)for a licence mentioned in section 202A(1) of the Act—10% of the amount stated in subparagraph (i);
(2)Section 36A(4)—
omit, insert—
(4)For a community club licence, the base fee is—
(a)for a club with more than 2,000 members—$3,061; or
(b)for a club with 2,000 members or less, either—
(i)for a licence other than a licence mentioned in section 202A(1) of the Act—$694.60; or
(ii)for a licence mentioned in section 202A(1) of the Act—10% of the amount stated in subsection (1)(a)(i).
