This regulation may be cited as the Civil Partnerships (Corresponding Laws) Amendment Regulation 2017.
This regulation amends the Civil Partnerships Regulation 2012.
3Replacement of s 4 (Civil partnerships under corresponding laws—Act, s 33)
Section 4—
omit, insert—4Civil partnerships under corresponding laws—Act, s 33
(1)For section 33(2) of the Act, definition corresponding law, the laws in schedule 1, part 1 are prescribed to be corresponding laws for the Act.(2)For section 33(1) of the Act, each relationship in schedule 1, part 2 is taken to be registered as a civil partnership under the Act.
