statements under thatAct for the financial year that ended
on 30 June 2010—(a)part 4, division 4 of that Act;(b)the repealedCity of Brisbane
Regulation 2004, sections6, 17, 23, 33
and 34.3ATransitional provisions for
by-elections(1)DespitetherepealoftheCityofBrisbaneAct1924,theelectionprovisionsofthatActcontinuetoapplytoby-elections for the council—(a)as if a reference in the provisions to
the town clerk werea reference to the chief executive officer;

ward; and(b)as if a reference in the provisions to
a local governmentAct were taken to include a reference to
