s1 3 Fair Trading ( Toothpaste) Order 2007 Fair Trading (Toothpaste) Order 2007 [reprinted as in force on 26 October 2007] s2 1 Short title This order may be cited as the Fair Trading (Toothpaste) Order 2007 . 2 Supply of toothpaste containing excessive DEG prohibited The supply of toothpaste containing more than 0.25% by weight of diethylene glycol (DEG) is prohibited under section 85 of the Act. Editor’s note — Section 85 of the Act deals with the Minister making orders prohibiting or restricting the supply of dangerous or undesirable goods or services. Under section 85(5) of the Act, this order expires 18 months after the order commences, and may not be renewed.
