Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Notice 2007 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Notice 2007 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 27 February 2008] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Notice 2007 . 2 Commencement Part 3 of this notice commences immediately after part 2 commences. Part 3A Notification of control areas 8A Purpose of pt 3A The purpose of this part is to notify control areas for equine influenza and state the animals to which each control area applies. 8B Notification of control areas—Act, s 18 (1) For section 18(1) of the Act, each of the following is a control area for equine influenza— (a) the area shown as control area A on the map in the schedule; Reprint 2 effective 27 February 2008 Page 3

(2) The exact location of the boundaries of control area A and control area B is held in digital electronic form by the department. (3) The information held in digital electronic form can be reduced or enlarged to show the details of the boundaries. (4) Maps showing the exact location of the boundaries can be accessed, free of charge, on the department’s website.
