s1 3 Plant Protection ( Mango Leaf Gall Midge) Notice 2006 Plant Protection (Mango Leaf Gall Midge) Notice 2006 [reprinted as in force on 5 December 2006] s3 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Plant Protection (Mango Leaf Gall Midge) Notice 2006 . Note — Under section 4(3) of the Act, this notice remains in force until whichever of the following first happens— (a) the commencement of a regulation prescribing the mango leaf gall midge to be a pest for the purposes of the Act; (b) the end of 3 months. 2 Definition In this notice— mango leaf gall midge means Procontarinia spp. 3 Pest declaration—Act, s 4(2) The mango leaf gall midge is declared to be a pest for the Act.
