s1 3 s3 Plant Protection (Electric Ant) Notice 2006 Plant Protection (Electric Ant) Notice 2006 [reprinted as in force on 1 June 2006] 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Plant Protection (Electric Ant) Notice 2006 . Note — Under section 4(3) of the Act, this notice remains in force until whichever of the following first happens— (a) the commencement of a regulation prescribing the electric ant to be a pest for the purposes of the Act; (b) the end of 3 months. 2 Definition In this notice— electric ant means Wasmannia auropunctata (Roger). 3 Pest declaration—Act, s 4(2) The electric ant is declared to be a pest for the Act.
