s1 3 s3 State Development and Public Works Organisation (Gold Coast Marine Development Project Board) Regulation 2005 State Development and Public Works Organisation (Gold Coast Marine Development Project Board) Regulation 2005 [reprinted as in force on 9 December 2005] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the State Development and Public Works Organisation (Gold Coast Marine Development Project Board) Regulation 2005 . 2 Name of project board The project board established under the notification published in the gazette on 9 December 2005 is named the Gold Coast Marine Development Project Board. 3 Functions of project board The project board has the following functions— (a) to act as the proponent under the Act, part 4, in relation to the preparation of an EIS for a cruise ship terminal on the northern part of The Spit, Southport and a marina on and adjacent to The Spit, Southport, until a person is appointed as the developer for the cruise ship terminal and the marina; (b) to provide advice to, and at the request of, the Premier or the Coordinator-General in relation to the development of the cruise ship terminal or the marina; (c) other functions delegated to the project board by the Coordinator-General under the Act, section 11 in relation to the development of the cruise ship terminal or the marina.
