s1 3 s2 Disaster Management (Extension of Disaster Situation-Gold Coast) Regulation 2005 Disaster Management (Extension of Disaster Situation-Gold Coast) Regulation 2005 [reprinted as in force on 14 July 2005] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Disaster Management (Extension of Disaster Situation-Gold Coast) Regulation 2005 . 1 2 Extension of period of disaster situation (1) This section applies to the declaration of a disaster situation, approved by the Minister on 8 July 2005, for the Currumbin Hill area bounded by Currumbin Creek, the Gold Coast Highway and the Pacific Motorway within the Gold Coast disaster district. (2) The period of the disaster situation is extended under section 67(1) of the Act. 1 Under section 67(3) of the Act, this regulation remains in force until whichever of the following first happens— (a) 14 days after the disaster situation was declared; (b) the regulation is repealed, or expires under section 68(4) of the Act.
