whole protected plants—the harvest period declaredunder

constituent, of a protected plant.salvageseeNatureConservation(ProtectedPlants)Conservation Plan 2000, schedule

material by—(a)dividing the plant; or(b)removingtheseed,cuttingsorpropagatingmaterialfrom

period for whole protected plants does not applytothetakingofawholeprotectedplantofthegenusMicrosorumunless the plant
is taken for—(a)iftheplantistakenunderacommercialwildlifeharvestinglicence—anapprovedcommercialpurpose;or(b)iftheplantistakenunderarecreationalwildlifeharvesting licence—an approved recreational
purpose.6Condition on commercial taking of
particular wholeprotected plants(1)Themaximumnumberofwholeprotectedplantsofthefollowing genera that may be taken,
during the harvest periodforwholeprotectedplants,underallcommercialwildlifeharvesting licences is as follows—(a)for protected plants of the
genusCycas—46;(b)for protected plants of the
genusLepidozamia—76;(c)for protected plants of the
genusMacrozamia—1 700;(d)for protected plants of the
genusXanthorrhoea—18 000.(2)Theportionofthemaximumnumbermentionedinsubsection (1)thatmaybetakenunderaparticularcommercialwildlifeharvesting
licence is the number statedon the
licence.1(3)This section does
not apply to whole protected plants takenfor an approved
