Research Involving Human Embryos and Prohibition of Human Cloning Regulation 2003 [s 1] Research Involving Human Embryos and Prohibition of Human Cloning Regulation 2003 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 5 September 2014] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Research Involving Human Embryos and Prohibition of Human Cloning Regulation 2003 . 2 Prescribed accrediting entity—Act, s 21 For section 21, definition accredited ART centre of the Act, the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee of the Fertility Society of Australia ACN 006 214 115, is a prescribed entity. 3 Prescribed guidelines to which NHMRC Licensing Committee must have regard—Act, s 29 The following guidelines issued by the NHMRC under the National Health and Medical Research Council Act 1992 (Cwlth) are prescribed for section 29(4)(c) of the Act— (a) ‘Ethical Guidelines on the Use of Assisted Reproductive Technology in Clinical Practice and Research’; (b) ‘National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research’.
