s1 3 s2 Banana Industry Protection Regulation 2000 Banana Industry Protection Regulation 2000 [reprinted as in force on 20 June 2002] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Banana Industry Protection Regulation 2000 . 2 Nomination of growers’ representatives—Act, s 7(1)(b) (1) For section 7(1)(b) of the Act, each growers’ representative on the board must be nominated by the Minister. (2) However, the Minister may nominate a person only if— (a) the Minister has asked an entity representing the interests of growers to recommend growers’ representatives; and (b) the entity has recommended the person. 3 Repeal (1) The Banana Industry Protection Regulation 1989 is repealed.
