be cited as theMount Isa Water Board By-law 1999.2DefinitionsIn
this by-law—“board”means the Mount
Isa Water Board.“entry authority”see section
3.3Authorities to be on works(1)The board may give a person, whether
or not on the application of theperson, written
authority (an“entry authority”) for entering
and being onworks of the board.(2)An
entry authority may be given on conditions that are reasonable
inthecircumstances,including,forexample,conditionsaboutthefollowing—(a)the
entry to, and being on, the works of persons acting under
theauthority of the entry authority;(b)the use of equipment, machinery and
vehicles on the works;(c)particular areas
of the works to which the entry authority applies.4Trespass(1)Apersonmustnotenter,orbeon,worksoftheboardunless,inentering or being on the works, the person is
acting—(a)under an entry authority; or(b)under other authority given by the
board.Maximum penalty—5 penalty units.

enters, or is on, works of the board under an entryauthority must comply with the conditions of
the entry authority.Maximum penalty—5 penalty units.5RepealBy-law No. 3
(Trespass) of the board, gazetted on 14 January 1978 atpage
99, is repealed.
