chairperson, or any 2trustees if the chairperson is

and place of meetings(1)Anordinary trustees’meetingistobeheldatthetimeandplace decided by
the trustees.(2)A special trustees’ meeting is to be
held at the time and placestated in the agenda for the
meeting.5Notice of meeting(1)Written notice of a trustees’ meeting must
be given to eachtrustee at least 3 clear days before the
meeting.(2)Thenoticemuststatethetimeandplaceoftheproposedmeeting.(3)This
section does not apply if—(a)the meeting is
the resumption of a meeting adjourned—(i)earlier on the same day; or(ii)on either of the 2 previous days;
or(b)the chairperson—(i)callsthemeetingbecausethechairpersonconsiders an
emergency exists; and(ii)takesreasonablestepsinthecircumstancestonotify each trustee of the meeting.6Agenda(1)The
agenda for a trustees’ meeting must include—(a)foranordinarymeeting—amotiontoconfirmtheminutes of the last ordinary or special
meeting; and(b)if a trustee has given the secretary
earlier notice that amotionisproposedtobemovedatthemeeting—thesubstance of the
motion; and(c)if a trustee has given the secretary
earlier notice that aquestionisproposedtobeaskedatthemeeting—thesubstance of the
question; and(d)the time, date and place of the next
trustees’ meeting.

agenda for a special meeting may only include amatter stated in
the notice of meeting.(3)If an ordinary
meeting lapses because of a lack of a quorum,the business for
the meeting must be included in the agendafor the next
ordinary meeting, unless it has been disposed ofby a
special meeting or can no longer be transacted.7Chairperson for meetings(1)The
chairperson must chair a trustees’ meeting at which thechairperson is present.(2)If
the chairperson is absent, another trustee chosen, with thetrustee’sconsent,bythetrusteespresentmustchairthemeeting.8QuorumA quorum for a
trustees’ meeting is more than one-half thetrustees.9Adjournment(1)Thetrusteespresentatatrustees’meeting may adjournthemeeting.(2)However, if a quorum is not present at a
meeting within 30minutes after the time set for the meeting,
the meeting must beadjourned to a time and day no later than 14
days after themeeting.10Minutes(1)Thetrusteesmustkeepfullandaccurateminutesoftheirmeetings.(2)Immediately after the minutes of a
previous trustees’ meetingare confirmed, the chairperson for the
meeting at which theyare confirmed must sign the
minutes.

numberAtrusteemustkeepthesecretaryinformedofthecurrentaddressandtelephonenumberofthetrustee’splaceofresidence and business, if any.12Transitional(1)Ifanoticeofatrustees’meetinghasbeengivenundertherepealed rules, the meeting may be
held and conducted as ifthis rule had not been made and the
repealed rules were still inforce.(2)This section expires 2 months after it
commences.(3)In this section—repealedrulesmeans the rules
repealed under section 13.13Repeal(1)The rules of the Trustees of the
Albion Park Paceway madeunder the Act and gazetted on 23
February 1985 at pages 961and 962 are repealed.(2)This section expires 2 months after it
commences.
