3 Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 1998 Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 1998 [reprinted as in force on 29 April 1998] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 1998 . 2 Approved superannuation schemes—Act, s 4(1) Each superannuation scheme stated in the schedule is an approved superannuation scheme for the Act. 3 Prescribed matters for definition public employment —Act, s 4(1) For section 4(1) of the Act, definition public employment — (a) the following States and Territories are prescribed— (i) Queensland; (ii) the Northern Territory; and (b) the following authorities are prescribed— (i) Endeavour Foundation; (ii) ETSA Corporation established under the Electricity Corporations Act 1994 (SA); (iii) a local government; (iv) Queensland Ambulance Service; (v) Queensland Livestock and Meat Authority; (vi) a State electricity entity within the meaning of the Electricity Act 1994 ; (vii) a university established under a law of a State or Territory.

4 Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 1998 4 Repeals The instruments made under the Act as orders in council are repealed.

5 Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 1998 Schedule Approved Superannuation Schemes section 2 1 Electricity Supply Industry Superannuation Fund (Qld) participated in under the Electricity Act 1994 . 2 Local Government Superannuation Scheme participated in under the Local Government Act 1993 . 3 QMeat Staff Superannuation Scheme participated in under the Meat Industry Act 1993 . 4 Queensland Ambulance Service Superannuation Scheme participated in under the Ambulance Service Act 1991 . 5 State Public Sector Superannuation Scheme participated in under the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Act 1990 .
