s1 3 s3 State Financial Institutions and Metway Merger Facilitation (Transitional–Authorised Investments) Regulation 1996 STATE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND METWAY MERGER FACILITATION (TRANSITIONAL–AUTHORISED INVESTMENTS) REGULATION 1996 [reprinted as in force on 6 December 1996] ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the State Financial Institutions and Metway Merger Facilitation (Transitional–Authorised Investments) Regulation 1996 . ˙ Authorised trustee investments 2.(1) For the Trusts Act 1973, section 21(1)(i), securities issued by Suncorp Holdings Limited (A.C.N. 075 679 033) are securities in which a trustee may invest trust funds. 1 (2) This section applies only until the beginning of the Metway amalgamation day. 2 ˙ Expiry 3. Under section 94(2)(b) of the Act, this regulation expires 12 months after it commences. 1 Suncorp Holdings Limited was formerly Suncorp Building Society Limited. 2 This provision ceased to apply at the beginning of the Metway amalgamation day. The Metway amalgamation day is 1 December 1996 (see notice pubd gaz 29 November 1996 p. 1257).
