s1 3 s2 Sugar Industry (Mill Peak Adjustments) Guideline 1996 SUGAR INDUSTRY (MILL PEAK ADJUSTMENTS) GUIDELINE 1996 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 23 April 1999] ˙ Short title 1. This guideline may be cited as the Sugar Industry (Mill Peak Adjustments) Guideline 1996 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this guideline— “current aggregate” , for a home mill, means the aggregate of farm peaks for the mill stated in the schedule, column 3. “current mill peak” , for a home mill, means the home mill’s mill peak stated in the schedule, column 2. “farm peak” means farm peak that— (a) has been transferred from an assignment, the lands of which are assigned to a home mill, to another assignment, the lands of which are assigned to a receiving mill; and (b) is expressed in the same way (whether it be tonnes of cane, tonnes relative ccs or tonnes relative sugar) as the farm peak of the current aggregate of the home mill in the schedule, column 4. “home mill” means a mill, mentioned in the schedule, column 1, from which an amount of mill peak is to be transferred. “receiving mill” means the mill to which an amount of mill peak is to be transferred.

For the purposes of the Act, section 171 1 when farm peak has been transferred, the Corporation will transfer from the home mill to the receiving mill the amount of mill peak calculated by using the following formula— transferred farm peak x current mill peak current aggregate . 1 The Act, section 171 (Adjustment of mill peaks)
