s1 3 s3 Civil Aviation ( Carriers’ Liability) Regulation 1996 Civil Aviation (Carriers’ Liability) Regulation 1996 [reprinted as in force on 7 June 2002] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Carriers’ Liability) Regulation 1996 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 December 1996. 3 Carrier’s liability for death or injury to a passenger A carrier’s liability for the death of, or injury to, a passenger in an accident is limited to $500000.
