s1 3 s4 Petroleum (Entry Permission) Notice 1996 PETROLEUM (ENTRY PERMISSION) NOTICE 1996 [reprinted as in force on 16 May 1996] ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Petroleum (Entry Permission) Notice 1996 . ˙ Commencement 2. This notice commences on 27 April 1996. ˙ Meaning of “block identification map” 3. A “block identification map” is a map that forms part of the series of 17 maps known as ‘Block Identification Map—Series B’ held in the office of the department. ˙ Entry permission given 4.(1) Entry permission is given to Roverton Pty Ltd (the “holder” ), for the land in the blocks on the block identification maps specified in the schedule, to investigate and survey the land for a proposed pipeline from south-west Queensland to the Carpentaria-Mount Isa mineral province. (2) Entry permission is given on the condition that the holder must not do any of the following under the permission on land to which the permission relates— (a) excavate or clear the land or waters; (b) construct or place any building, structure or other thing (other than a fence or gate); (c) dispose of or store garbage or a poisonous, toxic or hazardous substance on the land or in water on it.
