s1 3 s4 Plant Protection (Papaya Fruit Fly) Quarantine Regulation (No. 2) 1995 PLANT PROTECTION (PAPAYA FRUIT FLY) QUARANTINE REGULATION (No. 2) 1995 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 27 August 1996] ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Plant Protection (Papaya Fruit Fly) Quarantine Regulation (No. 2) 1995 . ˙ Pest quarantine area 2. The area declared to be a pest quarantine area is the area bounded by an imaginary line drawn from— • the most eastern point of the coastal waters of the State at 19° south • then in a westerly direction to 144° 15' west • then in a northerly direction to the limits of the coastal waters of the State • then along the limits of the coastal waters of the State back to 19° south. ˙ Nature of quarantine 3.(1) A person must not take fruit out of the pest quarantine area. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to fruit taken out of the pest quarantine area with an inspector’s written approval. ˙ Repeal 4. The Plant Protection (Papaya Fruit Fly) Quarantine Regulation 1995 is repealed.
