1996]˙Short title1.This
regulation may be cited as thePlantProtection(PapayaFruitFly) Quarantine
Regulation (No. 2) 1995.˙Pest
quarantine area2.The area declared to be a pest
quarantine area is the area bounded by animaginary line
drawn from—•themosteasternpointofthecoastalwatersoftheStateat19°
south•then in a westerly direction to 144°
15' west•then in a northerly direction to the
limits of the coastal waters ofthe State•then along the limits of the coastal
waters of the State back to19°
south.˙Nature of quarantine3.(1)A person must
not take fruit out of the pest quarantine area.(2)Subsection (1) does not apply to fruit taken
out of the pest quarantinearea with an inspector’s written
approval.˙Repeal4.ThePlant Protection (Papaya Fruit Fly)
Quarantine Regulation 1995is repealed.
