s1 3 s3 Superannuation (Government And Other Employees) Regulation 1994 SUPERANNUATION (GOVERNMENT AND OTHER EMPLOYEES) REGULATION 1994 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 27 March 1994] ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (Government and Other Employees) Regulation 1994 . ˙ Persons approved to be a member of scheme 2.(1) For the purposes of section 3(2)(d) (Definition of “employee”) of the Articles, a person specified in schedule 1 is approved to be a member of the scheme. (2) However, schedule 1, items 2 and 3 do not apply to a person who is a member of a superannuation scheme the Minister decides is a scheme to which this subsection applies. ˙ Persons excluded from membership of scheme 3. For the purposes of section 3(3)(e) (Definition of “employee”) of the Articles, a person specified in schedule 2 is excluded from membership of the scheme.

An employee of— • Board of Trustees of Newstead House • Brisbane Market Trust • Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Authority • Committee of Direction of Fruit Marketing • Dumaresq—Barwon Border Rivers Commission • Gladstone Port Authority • Gold Coast Waterways Authority (other than an employee who is a member of the Gold Coast Waterways Authority Staff Superannuation Scheme) • Isis Cane Protection and Productivity Board • Mt Gravatt Community Options Association Incorporated • National Trust of Queensland • Q Invest Limited • Queensland Institute of Medical Research • Queensland Investment Corporation • Queensland Livestock and Meat Authority (other than an employee who is a member of the Livestock and Meat Authority Staff Superannuation Scheme) • Queensland Performing Arts Trust • Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre Limited

A person who, in the Minister’s opinion, works under a contract that is wholly or principally for the person’s labour. 3. A person who holds, or performs the duties of, an appointment, office or position under a law of the State. 4. Members of the Board, and officers and employees, of the Ports Corporation of Queensland.
