s1 3 s4 Meat Industry Regulation 1994 MEAT INDUSTRY REGULATION 1994 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 1 January 2003] PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Meat Industry Regulation 1994 . 2 Animals to which Act does not apply—Act, s 7(3) Animals other than warm blooded vertebrates and reptiles are declared to be animals to which the Act does not apply. 3 Prohibited animals—Act, s 54(2) A prohibited animal is of the species— (a) canine; or (b) feline. PART 2—STANDARDS 4 Standards approved The following standards are approved— (a) the Meat Industry Standard 1994 ; (b) the Meat Industry (Construction of Premises Processing Animals for Human Consumption) Standard 1996; (c) the Meat Industry (Construction of Premises Processing Meat for Human Consumption) Standard 1996 ;
