may be cited as theSecond-hand Dealers and CollectorsRegulation 1994.4FeesThe fees payable
under the Act are set out in schedule 1.5Licence must be signedImmediately after
a person receives a licence issued to him or her, theperson
must sign the licence, in ink, in the space provided.Maximum penalty—8 penalty units.6Register of licences(1)Thechiefexecutivemustkeeparegistercontainingthecurrentdetails of each
licence issued.(2)A person may inspect the register on
payment of the relevant fee setout in schedule
1.7Display of licensed collector’s name
etc. on a vehicleFor the purpose of section 31 of the
Act,1the letters used to display alicensedcollector’sname,thewords‘licensedcollector’ andthelicencenumber on a
vehicle must be at least 50 mm high and written legibly.1Section 31 (Collector to display name,

under section 32 of the Act2must
be—(a)silver with black writing; and(b)circular in shape with a diameter of
at least 40 mm.9Register of
transactions—collectorFor the purpose of section 34(2) of
the Act,3the following particulars arethe
prescribed particulars, relating to the collection or sale of
second-handgoods, to be entered in a register of
transactions—(a)the time and day of the collection or
sale;(b)a description of the goods;(c)the name and address of the person
from whom the goods werecollected or to whom the goods were
sold.10Register of transactions—dealerFor
the purpose of section 44(2) of the Act,4the
following particulars aretheprescribedparticulars,relatingtotheacquisition,saleordisposalofsecond-hand goods, to be entered in a
register of transactions—(a)the time and day
of the acquisition, sale or disposal;(b)a
description of the goods;(c)the name and
address of the person from whom the goods wereacquired or to
whom the goods were sold or disposed of.11Goods
