5 Health Services (Transfer of Officers) Regulation 1992 HEALTH SERVICES (TRANSFER OF OFFICERS) REGULATION 1992 [reprinted as in force on 1 January 1993 2 ] ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Health Services (Transfer of Officers) Regulation 1992 3 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this regulation— “order in council” means the Department of Health (Transfer of Officers) Order (No. 1) 1992 ; “transferred officer” means an officer mentioned in the Schedule. ˙ End of secondment 3. The day fixed under section 5(2) of the order in council, for the termination of the period of secondment, is the day this regulation commences. ˙ Transfer of officers 4. Each officer mentioned in the Schedule is transferred from the Department of Health to the relevant Authority. ˙ Transitional 5.(1) Each transferred officer retains— (a) the salary and conditions of employment; and (b) the entitlements with respect to leave and superannuation;

6 Health Services (Transfer of Officers) Regulation 1992 that applied to the officer before the commencement of this regulation. (2) To remove any doubt, the service of a transferred officer is not to be taken as non-continuous for the purposes of a matter mentioned in subsection (1) merely because of the transfer effected under this regulation. ˙ Repeal 6. The order in council in repealed at the end of the day this regulation commences.
