title1.This regulation may be cited as
thePolice Superannuation Regulation19921.˙Definition2.In
this regulation—“approved form”see section
4.˙Persons declared not to be
members3.A person or a member of a class of
persons set out in the schedule isdeclared not to
be a member for the purposes of the Act.˙Approval of forms4.The
chief executive may approve forms for use under the Act.Approved forms5.(1)This
section applies if—(a)immediatelybeforeitscommencement,therewasaprescribedform for a
matter; and(b)onitscommencement,thereistobeanapprovedformforthematter or a form
may be approved for the matter.1This
instrument was previously thePolice
Superannuation (Member) Order 1992,and
under theStatutory Instruments Act 1992,
section 20C(3), is now taken to bea
regulation.

1992(2)Until there is an approved form for
the matter, the form that was theprescribedformforthematterimmediatelybeforethecommencementistaken
to be the approved form for the matter.(3)This
section expires 3 months after it commences.11Thisprovisionhasexpiredandisincludedinthisreprintforinformationalpurposes
only.It will be omitted in the next
reprint.This provision has not beenrenumbered under section 7.

1992S¡CHEDULE†PERSONS DECLARED NOT TO BE
MEMBERSsection 31.A
person who—(a)is appointed under an individual
written contract of employment;and(b)was not a member for the purposes of
the Act immediately beforethe appointment.2.A
person who—(a)is appointed under thePolice Service Administration Act
1990asa staff member, a police recruit or a
special constable; and(b)was not a member
for the purposes of the Act immediately beforethe
appointment.3.A person who becomes a member of the
Queensland Police Serviceon or after 1 January
1993.
