1996]˙Short title1.ThisregulationmaybecitedastheTownsville/Thuringowa WaterSupply Board (Financial Arrangements)
Regulation 1992.˙Meaning of
“approved form”2.In this regulation—“approvedform”foradocumentmeanstheformapprovedforthedocument by the
chief executive of the department.˙Prescribed form for board’s annual
budget3.A budget under section 65 of the Act
must be in the approved form.˙Prescribed manner for adoption of board’s
annual budget4.After the board votes to adopt a
budget framed under section 65 of theAct, the budget
is to be—(a)certifiedbythechairpersonandthemanagerashavingbeenadopted; and(b)sealed with the board’s seal; and(c)if approved by the Minister—endorsed
with that approval.˙Unapproved disbursements5.(1)If in any
year—

1992(a)the board wishes to make a
disbursement from a fund that hasnot been
provided for in the approved budget for the fund for theyear; and(b)there are emergent or extraordinary
circumstances for making thedisbursement;then before it is
made, the board must resolve to approve the disbursement.(2)Before 31 August in each year, the
board must prepare and give tothe Minister a
notice of any disbursements made under this section in theprevious year.˙Fidelity guarantee insurance6.The board must take out fidelity
guarantee insurance cover in respectof each of the
board’s officers who, in the course of the officer’s duties,deals
with the board’s money or securities.
