s1 3 s2 Sugar Industry (Mill Peak Adjustments) Guideline 1992 SUGAR INDUSTRY (MILL PEAK ADJUSTMENTS) GUIDELINE 1992 [as amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 24 June 1996] ˙ Short title 1. This guideline may be cited as the Sugar Industry (Mill Peak Adjustments) Guideline 1992 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this guideline— “current aggregate” means the aggregate tonnage of farm peaks of land assigned to a home mill mentioned in the schedule, column 1 and stated opposite the mill in the schedule, column 3. “current mill peak” means a home mill’s mill peak stated opposite the mill in the schedule, column 2 and expressed in tonnes 94 nt. 1 “home mill” means the mill from which an amount of mill peak is to be transferred. “receiving mill” means the mill to which an amount of mill peak is to be transferred. “transferred farm peak” means farm peak that— (a) has been transferred from an assignment, the land of which is assigned to a home mill mentioned in the schedule, column 1, to another assignment, the land of which is assigned to a receiving mill; and (b) is expressed in the way stated for the home mill’s current aggregate opposite the home mill in the schedule, column 4. 1 ‘nt’ is the symbol for ‘net titre’.

For the purposes of section 171 of the Act, when farm peak has been transferred, the Corporation will transfer from the home mill to the receiving mill the amount of mill peak calculated by using the following formula— transferred farm peak x current mill peak current aggregate .
