1992SUGAR INDUSTRY (MILL PEAKADJUSTMENTS) GUIDELINE 1992[as
amended by all amendments that commenced on or before 24 June
1996]˙Short title1.ThisguidelinemaybecitedastheSugarIndustry(MillPeakAdjustments)
Guideline 1992.˙Definitions2.In this guideline—“current
aggregate”means the aggregate tonnage of farm peaks of
landassignedtoahomemillmentionedintheschedule,column1andstated opposite
the mill in the schedule, column 3.“current mill
peak”means a home mill’s mill peak stated
opposite themill in the schedule, column 2 and expressed
in tonnes 94 nt.1“home mill”means the mill
from which an amount of mill peak is to betransferred.“receiving
mill”means the mill to which an amount of mill
peak is to betransferred.“transferred farm
peak”means farm peak that—(a)hasbeentransferredfromanassignment,thelandofwhichisassigned to a home mill mentioned in the
schedule, column 1, toanother assignment, the land of which
is assigned to a receivingmill; and(b)isexpressedinthewaystatedforthehomemill’scurrentaggregate opposite the home mill in the
schedule, column 4.1‘nt’ is the symbol for ‘net
titre’.

1992˙Adjustment of mill peaks3.For the purposes of section 171 of the
Act, when farm peak has beentransferred,theCorporationwilltransferfromthehomemilltothereceiving mill
the amount of mill peak calculated by using the followingformula—transferred farm
peakxcurrent mill peakcurrent
aggregate.
