(QUARRY MATERIAL)REGULATION 1992[as amended by
all amendments that commenced on or before 19 April 2002]1Short titleThis regulation
may be cited as theWater Resources (Quarry Material)Regulation 1992.2Meaning of “statutory body”In
this regulation—“statutory body”means a body,
established under an Act, that does notrepresent the
Crown.3Permit feesForthepurposeofsection4.33ofthe Act,1theprescribedfeeforapermit is set out
in Schedule 1.4Royalty(1)The
prescribed rates for the royalty payable under section 4.37 of
theAct2are set out in
Schedule 2.(2)No royalty is payable in relation to
an amount of quarry material forwhich a
certificate has been issued under subsection (3).(3)AchiefexecutiveofaStategovernmentdepartmentmayissueacertificate, in relation to an amount of
quarry material taken by a personunder a permit,
stating that the material was supplied by the person for useby

Resources (Quarry Material) Regulation 1992(4)Royalty is payable, in relation to an amount
of quarry material forwhichacertificatehasbeenissuedundersubsection(5),attheratespecified for a local authority or other
statutory body.(5)A local authority or other statutory
body may issue a certificate, inrelation to an
amount of quarry material taken by a person under a permit,stating that the material was supplied by the
person for use by the localauthority or
