FINANCIALARRANGEMENTS (LOCAL GOVERNMENTS)ORDER 1992[as amended by
all amendments that commenced on or before 15 October 1996]˙Short title1.This
order in council may be cited as theStatutory Bodies
FinancialArrangements (Local Governments) Order
1992.˙Application of
Part 4 of Act2.Part4oftheAct(otherthantheprovisionsofthosesectionsmentioned in section 47(2)) is declared to
apply, without limit of time, tolocalgovernments,inrespectofunsecuredfinancialaccommodationprovided for a
period of not more than 90 days by the BT Statutory andLocal
Authority Investment Trust.˙Application of s.48(1)(d) of the Act3.Section48(1)(d)oftheActapplies,withoutlimitoftime,tolocalgovernments in
respect of investments in units in unit trusts.˙Approval of investments4.For
the purposes of section 48(1)(d) of the Act, investments in units
inthe following unit trusts are
approved—(a)BT Statutory and Local Authority
Investment Trust;(b)NMFM Cash Enhanced Fund
(QLD).
