Regulation1988DISPOSAL OF UNEXECUTED WARRANTSREGULATION 1988[as amended by
all amendments that commenced on or before 30 May 1996]˙Short title1.This
regulation may be cited as theDisposal of
Unexecuted WarrantsRegulation 1988.˙Approved form of application to clerk
of the court for freshwarrant—Act, s 5(4)(a)4.(1)AnapprovedformofanapplicationtotheclerkofthecourtBrisbane for the
issue of a fresh warrant must provide for the followinginformation—(a)the
name of the authorised police officer making the
application;(b)the type of warrant cancelled;(c)the purpose for which the warrant was
issued;(d)the day and place the warrant was
issued;(e)the day the warrant was
cancelled.(2)Anapplicationmustbesignedbytheauthorisedpoliceofficermaking it.˙Approved form of application to judge
for fresh warrant—Act,s 6(6)(a)5.(1)An
approved form of an application to a judge of the District
orSupremeCourtfortheissueofafreshwarrantmustprovideforthefollowing information—

prescribed person making the application;1(b)the type of warrant cancelled;(c)the purpose for which the warrant was
issued;(d)the day and place the warrant was
issued;(e)the day the warrant was
cancelled.(2)An application must be signed by the
prescribed person making it.˙Prescribed places6.(1)For
the purposes of section 5(1) of the Act, Police
Headquarters,Brisbane, shall be a prescribed place.(2)For the purposes of section 6(2) of
the Act , the Office of the Sheriff,Supreme Court,
Brisbane, shall be a prescribed place.1Undersection6(8)oftheAct,aprescribedpersonisthedirectorofpublicprosecutions,adeputydirectorofpublicprosecutions,orthepersononwhoseapplicationthecancelledwarrantwasissuedorsomeoneelseactingfortheperson.
