If the cumulative weekly update indicates legislation is to be amended by a Bill before the Legislative Assembly, check the progress of the Bill by accessing Progress of Bills introduced into Parliament
To check whether the Bill has been assented to, go to the List of Acts as passed
This is updated when the office receives notice of assent from the Table Office of the Queensland Parliament, which as a matter of practice is usually within hours of the assent happening. If a Bill has been passed it is usually a matter of days to assent.
Information about the parliamentary record of proceedings
Separately to the above, the history of Bills/Acts can be followed on the website of the Queensland Parliament.
For example, the first, second and third readings of the Bill can be found by searching the title of the Bill using the search facility available at Queensland Parliament—Document Search. The assent of the Bill is also reported to the Legislative Assembly ordinarily on a later date following passage. This can also be found by the same search facility.
