Repealed on 22 November 2025 by 2025 SL No. 144 s 28.Nature Conservation (Forest Reserves) Regulation 20001Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Forest Reserves) Regulation 2000.2Dedication of forest reserves(1)Each area of Land Act reserve, State forest, timber reserve or unallocated State land described in schedule 1 is dedicated as a forest reserve.(2)Each forest reserve is given the name stated opposite its description in schedule 1.s 2 amd 2007 SL No. 221 s 5; 2025 SL No. 144 s 113Inspection of forest reserve plansThe plans mentioned in schedules 1 and 2 are available for inspection by members of the public during office hours on business days at—
  • (a)the department’s head office; and
  • (b)each regional office of the department in whose area the forest reserve is situated.
    • s 3 amd 2025 SL No. 144 s 12    4Revocation of dedication of particular forest reserves(1)The following dedications are revoked—
  • (a)the dedication of each forest reserve mentioned in schedule 2, part 1, column 1 and described opposite in column 2;
  • (b)the dedication of the part of each forest reserve mentioned in schedule 2, part 2, column 1 and described opposite in column 2.
    • (2)For the Nature Conservation Act 1992, section 70E(3)—
  • (a)the purpose of each revocation under subsection (1)(a) is to allow the entirety of each forest reserve mentioned in schedule 2, part 1, column 1 and described opposite in column 2 to become a protected area; and
  • (b)the purpose of each revocation under subsection (1)(b) is to allow the part of each forest reserve mentioned in schedule 2, part 2, column 1 and described opposite in column 2 to become a protected area.
