See SIA s 54(2) and SIR s 3 sch 2.Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 20081Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Regulation 2008.2CommencementThis regulation commences on 2 September 2008.3Approved superannuation schemes—Act, s 4(1)For section 4(1) of the Act, definition approved superannuation scheme, paragraph (b), each superannuation scheme stated in the schedule is declared to be an approved superannuation scheme.4Prescribed matters for definition public employment—Act, s 4(1)(1)For section 4(1) of the Act, definition public employment, paragraph (a), the following States and Territories are prescribed—

(a)Queensland;

(b)the Northern Territory.

(2)For section 4(1) of the Act, definition public employment, paragraph (b), the following authorities are prescribed—

(a)RESI Corporation established under the Electricity Corporations Act 1994 (SA);

(b)a local government;

(c)a State electricity entity within the meaning of the Electricity Act 1994;

(d)a university established under a law of a State or Territory.
