Tattoo Industry Act 2013Tattoo Industry Regulation 2013pt 1 hdg om 2013 SL No. 244 s 10pt 2 hdg om 2013 SL No. 244 s 101Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Tattoo Industry Regulation 2013.s 1 amd 2016 Act No. 62 s 493 sch 1 pt 22CommencementThis regulation commences on 6 January 2014.3Replacement of licence(1)This section applies if the chief executive is satisfied that a person is the holder of a licence that has been lost, stolen or destroyed.(2)The chief executive may, on the payment of the fee stated in schedule 1, issue a replacement licence to the person.4FeesThe fees payable under the Act are stated in schedule 1.4ARounding of amounts expressed as numbers of fee units(1)This section applies for working out the amount of a fee expressed in this regulation as a number of fee units.(2)For the purpose of the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 48C(3), the amount is to be rounded—(a)if the result is not more than $100—to the nearest multiple of 5 cents (rounding one-half upwards); or(b)if the result is more than $100 but not more than $1,000—to the nearest multiple of 10 cents (rounding one-half upwards); or(c)if the result is more than $1,000 but not more than $5,000—to the nearest dollar (rounding one-half upwards).
Example—If a fee were 35 fee units and the value of a fee unit were $1.015, the number of dollars obtained by multiplying 35 by $1.015 would be $35.525. Because $35.525 is halfway between $35.50 and $35.55, it is rounded upwards, so the amount of the fee would be $35.55.s 4A ins 2022 SL No. 79 s 1645Partial refund of feesThe chief executive must refund a reasonable amount of a fee paid on an application for a licence, or the renewal of a licence, if—(a)the chief executive refuses to grant or renew the licence; or(b)the applicant withdraws the application before the licence is granted or renewed.
