Public Records Act 2002Public Records Regulation 20141Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Public Records Regulation 2014.2Relevant public authority—Act, s 8(3)(b)(1)This section applies if a public authority (the column 1 public authority) mentioned in schedule 1, column 1 ceases to exist.(2)For section 8(3)(b) of the Act, the public authority mentioned in schedule 1, column 2 shown opposite the column 1 public authority is the relevant public authority for the column 1 public authority.3Responsible public authority—Act, s 15(1)For section 15(d) of the Act, the department in which the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1950 is administered is prescribed as the responsible public authority for a public record of each of the following public authorities that has ceased to exist—
  • (a)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 2011;
  • (b)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 2012;
  • (c)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 2) 2012;
  • (d)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 2013;
  • (e)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 2015;
  • (f)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 4) 2015;
  • (g)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 1) 2016.

  • 6The commission of inquiry mentioned in paragraph (f) is known as the Barrett Adolescent Centre Commission of Inquiry.
  • 7The commission of inquiry mentioned in paragraph (g) is known as the Independent Review of Youth Detention.
    • (2)For section 15(d) of the Act, the department in which the Racing Act 2002 is administered is prescribed as the responsible public authority for a public record of the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 2) 2015.Editor’s note—The commission of inquiry mentioned in subsection (2) is known as the Queensland Greyhound Racing Industry Commission of Inquiry.(3)For section 15(d) of the Act, the department in which the Constitution of Queensland 2001 is administered is prescribed as the responsible public authority for a public record of each of the following public authorities that has ceased to exist—
  • (a)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 3) 2015;
  • (b)the commission established under the Commissions of Inquiry Order (No. 2) 2016.
