17AB Resignation(1)A director may resign office as chairperson, deputy chairperson or director by signed notice given to the Minister.(2)The resignation takes effect—

(a)on the day the notice is given; or

(b)if a later day is stated in the notice—on the later day.

17AC Vacancy in officeA director’s office becomes vacant if the director—

(a)completes a term of office and is not reappointed; or

(b)is disqualified from continuing as a director under section 17AA; or

(c)resigns office as director under section 17AB; or

(d)is removed from office.
