1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Corrective Services (Emerging Technologies and Security) and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2024.2Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 2 June 2025.(2)In this section—postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the Corrective Services (Emerging Technologies and Security) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023.Note—The postponed law now automatically commences on 3 June 2025.3ExpiryThis regulation expires on 4 June 2025.
