1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the State Development and Public Works Organisation (Particular Works for Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project Exploratory Works) Amendment Regulation 2023.2Regulation amendedThis regulation amends the State Development and Public Works Organisation Regulation 2020.3Insertion of new pt 4, div 11Part 4—insert—Division 11Particular works for Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project Exploratory Works28JDefinitions for divisionIn this division—exploratory works means the works described in the project report as the Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project exploratory works.project report means the report of July 2023, prepared by the Coordinator-General, called ‘Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project Exploratory Works - Temporary Workers Accommodation Camps Project Report’ and published on the department’s website.project works means the works reasonably connected with, or incidental to, the construction, operation and decommissioning of temporary workers accommodation camps for workers carrying out the exploratory works.Queensland Hydro means Queensland Hydro Pty Ltd ACN 661 444 515. reserved works means the works reasonably connected with, or incidental to the following works—

(a)works comprising the opening, closing or rearranging of roads as reasonably required to facilitate access for the carrying out of the project works;

(b)works reasonably required to support the project works that, in the circumstances, can be carried out only with the exercise of a power the Coordinator-General may exercise under the Act.

temporary workers accommodation camps means the temporary workers accommodation camps described in the project report.28KQueensland Hydro directed to undertake particular works—Act, s 100(1)Subsection (2) is a direction for section 100 of the Act.(2)Queensland Hydro must undertake the project works.28LCoordinator-General directed to undertake particular works—Act, s 109(1)Subsection (2) is a direction for section 109 of the Act.(2)The Coordinator-General must undertake the reserved works.
