1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2021.2Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 23 July 2022.(2)In this section—postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2020.Note—The postponed law now automatically commences on 24 July 2022.3ExpiryThis regulation expires on 25 July 2022.
