1Short titleThis regulation may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2017.2Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 9 December 2018.(2)In this section—postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2016.Note—The postponed law now automatically commences on 10 December 2018.3ExpiryThis regulation expires on 11 December 2018.
