Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.3AuthorityThis instrument is made under subsection 47(4) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997.4Continuation of temporary exemptionFor the purposes of subsection 47(3) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997, the following are declared to be laws that are exempt from the operation of that Act:(a)Part 5 of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2001 (NSW);(b)all other provisions of that New South Wales Act, to the extent that they relate to the container deposit scheme established by that Part;(c)instruments made under that New South Wales Act, to the extent that they relate to that scheme.
5Repeal of this instrumentThis instrument is repealed 12 months after clause 4 of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (New South Wales) Temporary Exemptions Regulation 2016 (NSW) ceases to operate.Note: That clause ceases to operate at the end of 16 November 2017.
